VOTE: VPTANIMOUS. PITBLIC HEARING ON SCOTSWOOD Mot on was made by Combaieeioner Lloyd, seconded by Commssioner Marshall to adjourn the public hearing to March 25, 1986, 7:30 p.m. in superior Courtroom, Hillsborough, North Carolina. VOTE: UNANIMOUS. F. NEED: At the February S4, 1985 public hearing, the Boards eapreaaed a concern regarding concurrent consideration of ordinance and atlas amendments coupled with specific development proposals dependent upon favorable decisions on the proposed amendments. The Boards directed that a policy addressing this concern be prepared for consideration and adoption. IMPACT: Adoption oP a policy would provide clear direction in administrative activities and would separate policy and legislative issues from consideration of specific development requests. BS(70MMSNDATION: Staff recommends that the Board adopt the following policiess That rezoning requests shall not be submitted to public hearing eoneurrently with amendments to development ordinances which affect the rezoning request; and that subdivision groposais shall not be considered concurrently with a rezoning request (egeept through the planned developawnt process) unless specifically authorized by the Board of Commissioners.
