PLANNING STAFF PRESENTATION
For each item presented by the Planning Department, the
planning staff will present the description of the project,
and its recommendation if different from the Planning Board's
recommendation. A Planning Board member will then present a
report which will include their recommendation. The Planning
Board report will be inserted into the record verbatim or by
attachment.

that recreation facilities are not adequate to meet the minimum recreational

Carolina for a development grant of $100.000 which represents fifty percent

reaoning request pf 4.54 acres located south of NC 54 and approximately 550'
east of Morrow Mill Road. The present sor-irg of the pra~perty is Agricultural
Residential. ~ icant is requesting a reeoning to Local Can~nercial-l.
This request was tted to public hearing an Nove~r 25. 1985. The
Planning Staff recommends approval of the LC-1 reaoning request. The County
Manager reeonr~s;that the request be referred back to the Plarmirg Board for
reoonsideratiarl pending the resolution of legal issues raised by mer+bers of
the Planning Boardr
