The site is within an area designated as either Commercial or Industrial Transition Activity Nodes, by the adopted Land Use Plans in Eno or Hillsborough ~ownships. `~,ff Comme to _-- ~ The site is within the HB-4 Harmon Y oung node which is designated in tie Orange County Land Ose Plan as a Commercial-industrial Activity Node and is located in Hillsborough Township. 2. I This site is loca ed and has direct access on the east side of an arterial (NC 86) as designalted in the Land Use Plan. Commis loner Walker made a motion, Com4oissioner Whitted seconded the chance of 4.87 acres of land on the east aide of N.C. Highway 86 from an R-1!1te8idential Classification to GC-4 General Commercial-4 with the use of a public sewer. Congnis~ioner Marshall suggested that the Board serve as the Board of Equalisafiion and Review. Commissioner whitted requested that the meetings be worked into the regular meeting schedule of the Board. The Board agreed to serve as the Board of Equalization and Review and requested Kermit ~loyd, Tax Supervisor, to set the meeting dates. 5. Commissioner Whitted moved, Commissioner Marshall seconded approval for the ~igher than entry level salary. VOTES UNANIMOUS. 6. Budaet~Amendments Coyarnisiioner Whitted moved, Commissioner Marshall seconded approval for the following budget amendments: General Fund Appropriation - Social Services 810.172 Source - Social Services - Title XX $10,172 Approp lotion - Social Services 8 3,b08 Source - Social Services - Subsidy $ 3,608 VOTEz ;Unanimous. 7. Commissioner Whitted moved, Commissioner Karshall seconded approval of the petition from North Carolina Department of Transportation for approval of thl,e addition of Bayberry Drive in Laurel Hills Subdivision I to the State mainiained Road System.
