The minutes of the last regular meeting,together with the adjoyfrned meetings oa July
I2th and 26th were read and approved. i

On motion of Dr.Nathan~ duly seconded,it is her by ordered that A,Y J'ones ~e given a
drawbacY far all Pohl tax paid by him,for the932 to date,on account of the loss of
a lei. ~

Dr~toy.9[ Brown appeared before the Board to express the w. ish acid to ask fot a close
co-operation between the County and the Social Security and 7Velfare adhi~histrations.
On notion it /1a hereby ordered that the Well,at the County Home be repaired so as to
meet the requirements of the public Health Board.

Eies Grace E HQlconbe Home Demonstration Agent submitted a detai~ed ~ of all
activities for the month of July with an exaenae account for materials o~ 85cta,
said report approved and acct., ordered paid, ~
~- number of lattera were received asking for reductions in the I937 Assessments, all
were given careful attention and action on the same waa deferred itil a~later meet
ing. ~
Tge '"County Budget having been filed with the Register of "Deeds for 30 days,
and duly adver~fsed as reouired by the Statutes was taken ua,and gone ovez• carefully
by the Board,the County Tax Supervisor and the C runty Attotnejl. 36any sedtions v~ere
approved b ut not a complete action was made and on motion the ame is deferred until _~
an adjourned meeting on August I6th for final adoption and fixing the Tax rate and
such other matters as may come before the Board.

On motion it 's,ordared that .the bill of Sheriff S,T Latta Jr, for conveying prisoner
from Atlanta Ga, to Hillsboro in the amount of X40,00 be paid.
