PURPOSE: To consider making reappointments to the Chapel Hill/Orange County Visitors
Bureau.
BACKGROUND: The Clerk's office has received recommendations for reappointments to the
Chapel Hill/Orange County Visitors Bureau for the following people: Robert "Bob" Ward and
Dave Gephart. If reappointed, Mr. Ward will be serving his second full term and Mr. Gephart
will be serving his first full term.

Re: Recommended re-appointments of Dave Gephart and Bob Ward
On. behalf of the Chapel HilUOrange County Visitors Bureau and Board, please accept
the recommendations of Dave Gephart to begin his first full term starting January 2009
and Bob Ward to continue onto his second term beginning January 2009.
The Visitor Bureau and Board feel these two board members will continue to represent
and serve the interests of the community and visitor alike, Gephart representing
Hillsborough and Ward representing Orange County EDC.
