The Board met in J oirt session-present County
Commissioners,J.H•F+anner.S.Q•Satham and ~r1.T.Durhag~_members of the Orange_
i County +^•elfare Board Chas. DCcDade. Bruce Strowd and Ot~iond. Crabtree,
~ TTre matter of electing a County Welfare Officer to succeed George. H•Lawrance
was brought beiiore the point Boards and after examining ail applications and
a general discusaion,it is hereby ordered that W.T 14attos, be and is hereby --
~ elected Orange County Qelfare Cf~icer for a term of two years,beginning July
Ist I937,at a Salary of Two hundred dollars per month,including travelling ex-
penses.
The Plot Booka Aos I and 2,in the Office of the Register of Deeds having becom
so large and being ha~'shape almost impossible to 'r.amd';e it is hereby ordered
that the Offer of the ~%arolina Blue Print Company to reduce_to Photostayic
Copiea and bind all Blue Prints in the tWO Socks into one Book fully indexed,
nd to Ytirnish Book To 2- in a Loose-leaf Binder for future-Blne 'mints, it to
e indexed and to also make copies "of aiI future Biue printsfiled for record in
range County, for One Dollar each and the sum of~p247.00 for she tso books,be
cceptsd.
