PURPOSE: To consider changing the County Commissioners' regular meeting calendar.
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County
Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in the
Regular Meeting Schedule.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE
RECOMMENDATON(S): Amend the Board of County Commissioners' regular meeting
calendar by adding a meeting on October 13, 1999 at 5:30 p.m. at the Southern Human Services
Center, Chapel Hill, North Carolina for the purpose of holding a Schools and Land Use Councils
meeting.
Note of Clarification: The regular meeting schedule has a regular meeting beginning
at 7:30. This action moved the starting time back to 5:30.
