Dr. Van Horn was not eligible .for re-appointment according to the Board of Commissioners rules. Her expertise as a practicing pediatrician has been very valuable to the Board. The Board carefully considered all current applicants that qualify for the at-large position and is recommending for your consideration Mr. Michael Wood for appointment to the Board of Health. Mr. Wood is an environmental consultant working on a wide range of environmental issues. He resides in northern Orange County.
