PURPOSE: To consider one change in the County Commissioners' regular meeting calendar
for year 2008.
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County
Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in
the Regular Meeting Schedule.
The Board will consider amending its regular meeting calendar by:
• Adding a BOCC Mini Retreat on Friday, November 14th from 10:OOam - 4:OOpm -

FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE
RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the Board amend its regular meeting
calendar for 2008 by adding a BOCC Mini Retreat on Friday, November 14th from 10:OOam -
4:OOpm -Location TBD.
