The Board of County Commissioners of Orange County met in adjourned session
on Monday, June 30, 1969, at 8:00 o'clock P.M., in the Conference Room of the
Orange County Welfare Building.
Members Present: Chairman Carl M. Smith, and Commissioners Harvey D. Bennett,
William C. Ray, Henry S. Walker and Ira A. Ward.
Members Absent: None
The County Accountant reported that if all budget requests were approved the
Ad Valorem tax rate for the year 1969-1970 would be #1.53. Discussion ensued.
There being no further business to come before the Board the meeting adjourned
to meet again on Tuesday, July 1, 1969, at 8:00 o'clock P.M.

on Tuesday, July 1, 1969, at 8:00 o'clock P.M. in the Conference Room of the
County Department of Social Services Building.
Members Present: Chairman Carl M. Smith, and Commissioners Harvey D.
Bennett, William C. Ray, Henry S. Walker and Ira A. Ward.
Members Absent: None
The purpose of this meeting was to discuss the proposed 1969-1970 budget.
There being no further business to come before the Board the meeting was
adjourned.
