PURPOSE: To consider making one appointment to the Interlocal Agreement Committee for
the Hillsborough Area=Orange County Strategic Growth Plan Phase II.
BACKGROUND: The Clerk's office has received a recommendation from the Interlocal
Agreement Committee for the Hillsborough Area-Orange County Strategic Growth Plan Phase II
for Larry Wright as the Planning Board representative, position #2. If appointed, Mr.Wright will
serve a partial term, which will end on 12/31/2008.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider making one appointment to the Interlocal Agreement Committee
for the Hillsborough Area-Orange County Strategic Growth Plan Phase II.

At last night's Planning Board meeting, the Planning Board designated member Larry Wright for appointment
consideration to the HSGP2 committee. (You may recall that Judith Wegner had volunteered but prior to being
appointed by the BOCC had said she would not be able to renew her Planning Board term).
Other than letting you know the Planning Board designee via this e-mail; is there anything else we need to do on
this issue or do you take it from here?
