PURPOSE: To consider a petition from NCDOT for approval of the addition of Acorn Ridge Trail
(Ext. of SR 1631) and Deerhaven Court in Eno Township to the state-maintained secondary road
system.
BACKGROUND: NCDOT has investigated Acorn Ridge Trail (Ext. of SR 1631) and Deerhaven
Court and submitted a petition for addition to the Board of Commissioners for their review and
approval (see attached Secondary Road Addition Report).
The Board's decision will be forwarded to the N.C. Board of Transportation for their deliberation
on acceptance of the roads to the state-maintained secondary road system.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None for Orange County.
RECOMMENDATON(S): The Administration recommends approval of the addition of Acorn
Ridge Trail (Ext. of SR 1631) and Deerhaven Court in Eno .Township to the state-maintained
secondary road system.
