RE: RECOMIIIENDED APPOINTEES TO THE COMIVIISSION FOR WOMEN
The Orange County Commission for Women (CFR~ held a meeting on Thursday, May 8,
2408, and one of the actions taken by the CFW was to make recommendations for appointment
to the CFW. Thus, the CFW requested that applications of the following residents be submitted
to the Board of County Commissioners for their consideration: Jasmine Farhardi, Doreen
Nicholas, and Jessica Ray.
The Commission for Women is committed to increasing the diversity of Commission
members and committed to preserving a geographical balance of representation whenever
possible. In addition, all of the applicants have voiced an active interest in advocating for
women, improving the quality of life for women in Orange County and a willingness and ability
to attend the Commission's meetings and participate in its projects.
