7:35 B. PUBLIC CHARGE
The Board of Commissioners pledges to the citizens of Orange County
its respect. The Board asks its citizens to conduct themselves in a
respectful, courteous manner, both with the Board and with fellow
citizens. At any time should any member of the Board or any citizen fail
to observe this public charge, the Chair will ask the offending member to
leave the meeting until that individual regains personal control. Should
decorum fail to be restored, the Chair will recess the meeting until such
time that a genuine commitment to this public charge is observed. All
electronic devices such as cell phones, pagers, and computers should
please be turned off or set to silent/vibrate.
C. PUBLIC HEARING ITEMS
7:40 1. Zoning Atlas Amendment, Planned Development Petition for Efland
Commons Single-Family Subdivision: Review of a Planned
Development (PD)/rezoning petition proposing the development of a 45-
lot single-family subdivision on 12.88 acres of land in Cheeks Township
at the northwest intersection of Tinnin Road (SR1313) and School
House Road (SR1314).
8:30 2. Corrtprehensive Plan Update Phase II: Third and final Public Hearing
held during the Comprehensive Plan update process. The last Public
Hearing was held on May 19, 2008 to introduce and receive public
comments on the draft Comprehensive Plan in its entirety. The. Board of
County Commissioners scheduled this additional Public Hearing on the
draft Plan to provide additional time for the public to review the
document and prepare comments.
