PURPOSE: To consider a resolution relative to future cooperative planning efforts with
Durham City/County.
BACKGROUND: Future cooperation and coordination of efforts with Durham City/County in
numerous planning areas could certainly prove beneficial to all parties. County Attorney Geof
Gledhill will provide information prior to the Board meeting that may quantify, in resolution form,
the Board's previously-expressed general interest in cooperating with Durham City/County in
future needs.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None known at this time.
RECOMMENDATION(S): As the Board decides.
