MINUTES OF THE ORANGE COUNTY
HCARD OF COMMISSIONERS
November 29, 1967

The Orange County Board of Commissioners met on Wednesday, November 29,
1967 at 8 p.m. in the Commissioners' Room at the Courthouse in Hillsborough,
North Carolina.
Members Present: Chairman Harvey Sennett and Commissioners Carl M. Smith,
Henry S. Walker and Ira A. Ward.
Members Absent: Commissioner William C. Ray
This meeting was held for the purpose of studying a budget request for
the 1968 fiscal year presented by the Joint Orange-Chatham Community Action
program. Discussion ensued concerning the said $3,000.OC budget request and
the various aspects of the proposed ;program.
Upon motion of Commissioner Ward; seconded by Commissioner Smith,
it was moved and adopted, that Orange County would appropriate $3,000.00
to the Joint Orange-Chatham Community Action nrcgram for the 1968 fiscal year.
There being no further business to come before the Board said meeting was
adjourned.
