PURPOSE: To consider one change in the County Commissioners' regular meeting calendar
for year 2003.
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County
Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in
the Regular Meeting Schedule. The Board of County Commissioners will consider adding a
joint meeting with OWASA, the Carrboro Board of Aldermen and the Chapel Hill Town Council
on Thursday, January 16, 2003, at 7:30 p.m., at a location to be determined.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE
RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the Board amend their regular
meeting calendar for 2003 by adding a joint meeting with the OWASA, the Carrboro Board of
Alderman and the Chapel Hill Town Council on Thursday, January 16, 2003, at a location to be
determined.
