PURPOSE: To consider the reappointment of one member of the Cable TV Advisory
Committee.
BACKGROUND: The first term of Mr. Rodney Recor will expire on December 31, 2002. He is
eligible for reappointment and has expressed a continued interest in serving on this Committee.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None
RECOMMENDATION(S): The Board will consider reappointing Rodney Recor of Cheeks
Township to a second term as an At-Large, Regular member on the Cable TV Advisory
Committee, for a term to expire 12/31/2004.

It just dawned on me that I will be in the BOCC meeting at Southern on the same night as the next CAC
meeting -Wed, Nov 6th, 7:30PM. Corinthia will be joining you all as staff support, but I will need to be
down the hall with the BOCC. Let me know if this poses aproblem -and what other info or assistance you
might require for your meeting.
Still no word back from TWC on our next negotiation meeting date.
ALSO -the County Clerk's Office has asked if Rodney Recor wishes to b® reappointed for another
term on the Committee. I will call/e-mail to find out his pleasure. I was told a formal motion by the
Committee is not required for the BOCC to consider his nomination for reappointment. His is the only
appointment/reappointment the Clerk's Office has mentioned as due.

Following up my earlier phone call of today.
To complete the necessary reappointment documents f Mr. Rodney Recor, a following is needed:
Attendance Chart for the past 12 months showing that he has attended 75% of the meetings required
(unless excused.)
Please refer questions about attendance to the Resolution regarding Appointments and Reappointments,
attached.
I have also attached FYI the first draft of the Agenda Abstract for Mr. Recor's reappointment.
I need this by today at 3 p.m. so that I can incorporate this into the Abstract packet going to Greg W. for
tomorrow's run of the 12/2/02 agenda.
