PURPOSE: To consider adding a meeting to the regular meeting calendar.
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County
Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in
the Regular Meeting Schedule. A meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at 7:00
p.m. at the Southern Human Services Center on Homestead Road in Chapel Hill, North
Carolina. There will be a public forum on proposed changes in the public mental health system
at this meeting.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE
RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the Board amend their regular
meeting calendar by adding a meeting on Tuesday, October 8, 2002 at 7:00 p.m. at the
Southern Human Services Center on Homestead Road in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
