PURPOSE: To consider repainting three members of the Economic Development Commission
(EDC).
BACKGROUND: The terms of Leslie Carol Weaver, George Horton and Ruffin Slater expired
on June 30, 2002. All are eligible for, and have been recommended for, reappointment.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None
RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider reappointing the following members of the Economic
Development Commission: Leslie Carol Weaver and George Horton to second terms and Ruffin
Slater to a first full term, all to expire June 30, 2005.
