PURPOSE: To consider adding a Work Session/Dinner Meeting at 5:30pm on Wednesday,
October 9, 2002 to discuss mental health issues.
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County
Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in
the Regular Meeting Schedule.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE
RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the Board amend their regular
meeting calendar by adding a Work Session/Dinner Meeting beginning at 5:30pm on
Wednesday, October 9, 2002 in order to discuss mental health issues.
