PURPOSE: To consider making four appointments to the Commission for Women (CFW).
BACKGROUND: There are five vacant positions on the CFW and nine applicants. In official
action at its regular meeting on August 8, 2002, the CFW recommended the following people to
be appointed to four of these vacancies:
• Letitia Jean Bums - Chapel Hill Township position
• Jeanette Holloman -At-Large position
• Mart ha A. Hoylman -At-Large position
• Angelika Langen -Nan-CH/H position
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None
RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider making appointments to the Commission for Women as
follows:
• Letitia Jean Bums - Chapel Hill Township position, unexpired term, to expire 06/3012003
• Jeanette Holloman -At-Large position, first regular term, to expire 06/30/2005
• Martha A. Hoylman -At-Large position, unexpired term, to expire 06/30/2004
• Angelika Langen -Non-CH/H position, unexpired term, to expire 06/30/2003
