PURPOSE: To consider 2 changes in the County Commissioners' regular meeting calendar for
the year 2003.
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County
Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in
the Regular Meeting Schedule.
The Board of County Commissioners will consider changing the locations of the following Public
Hearings:
Thursday, October 16, 2003 Public Hearing at 7:30 p.m. -from the F. Gordon Battle
Courtroom in Hillsborough to the Chapel Hill Hiclh School Auditorium, Chapel Hill.
Thursday, October 23, 2003 Public Hearing at 7:30 p.m.-from the Southern Human Services
Center to the Cedar Ridge High School Auditorium, in Hillsborough, North Carolina.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE
RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the Board amend their regular
meeting calendar by changing the date/location of the following meetings:
Thursday, October 16, 2003 Public Hearing at 7:30 p.m.- from the F. Gordon Battle Courtroom
in Hillsborough to the Chapel Hill High School Auditorium.
Thursday, October 23, 2003 Public Hearing at 7:30 p.m. -from the Southern Human Services
Center to the Cedar Ridge High School Auditorium, in Hillsborough, North Carolina.
