PURPOSE: To consider one change in the County Commissioners' regular meeting calendar
for the year 2003.
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County
Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in
the Regular Meeting Schedule. The Board of County Commissioners will consider changing the
date of the Joint Meeting of the Board of Commissioners and the School Boards from
September 22, 2003 to September 29, 2003 at the Southern Human Services Center, 2501
Homestead Road, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE
RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the Board amend their regular
meeting calendar by changing the date of the Joint Meeting of the Board of Commissioners and
the School Boards from September 22, 2003 to September 29, 2003 at the Southern Human
Services Center, 2501 Homestead Road, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
