PURPOSE: To consider the reappointment of two members to the Orange County Board of
Health.
BACKGROUND: The first terms of Board of Health members Alice White and Alan E. Rimer
expire in June. Both members have indicated a willingness to serve another term and both are
eligible to be reappointed. Ms. White serves as Vice-Chair.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider appointing Alice White and Alan E. Rimer to second
terms on the Board of Health, both with term expiration dates of June 30, 2006.

Board of Health Reappointments
The first terms of Board of Health members Alice White and Alan E.
Rimer expire in June. Both members have indicated a willingness to
serve another term and both have exhibited strong attendance and
participate regularly. Alice White currently serves as Vice-Chair. The
Board of Health enthusiastically endorses their reappointment for
another term.
Ms. Martha Stucker, who serves in the nurse slot on the Board,
informed the Board that she would be resigning effective June 30,
2003. She is moving out of the county and will no longer be eligible to
serve. We are recruiting for a nurse to fill her unexpired term.
