PURPOSE: To consider appointing a member to the Board of Social Services.
BACKGROUND: The second term of Rosetta Moore, member at-large on the Board of Social
Services, expires June 30, 2002. Therefore, Ms. Moore is not eligible for reappointment.
Two members are appointed by the Board of Commissioners--one citizen and one member of
the Board of Commissioners. Three applications have been received after advertisement was
done.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None
RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider making an appointment to the Board of Social Services
to the at-large position with a term expiration date of June 30, 2005.
