BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in the Meeting Schedule. It is proposed that the Board of Commissioners conduct a retreat on Saturday, March 21, 2026, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Whitted Building in Hillsborough. FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact associated with this item. ALIGNMENT WITH STRATEGIC PLAN: This item supports: • GUIDING PRINCIPLE — COMMUNICATION AND AWARENESS We provide information and opportunities for engagement in a transparent manner so that all in our community have knowledge, understanding, and a voice.
