PURPOSE: To consider one change in the County Commissioners' regular meeting calendar
for the year 2003.
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County
Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in
the Regular Meeting Schedule. The Board of County Commissioners will consider changing the
location of its Work Session, scheduled for Thursday, April 24, 2003 at 7:30 p.m., from the
Government Services Center in Hillsborough, North Carolina to the Southern Human Services
Center, 2501 Homestead Road, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE
RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board amend its regular
meeting calendar by changing the location of the scheduled Work Session on Thursday, April
24, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. from the Government Services Center in Hillsborough, North Carolina to
the Southern Human Services Center, 2501 Homestead Road, Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
