PURPOSE: To consider two changes in the County Commissioners' regular meeting calendar
for year 2003.
BACKGROUND: Pursuant to North Carolina General Statute 153A-40, the Board of County
Commissioners must fix the time and place of its meetings or provide a notice of any change in
the Regular Meeting Schedule. The Board of County Commissioners will consider adding a
Work Session on Monday, February 24, 2003 starting at 5:30 p.m. at the Government Services
Center, 200 South Cameron Street, Hillsborough, North Carolina. The Board will consider
changing the starting time for the Work Session on Wednesday, February 26, 2003 from 5:30
to 7:30 p.m. at the Southern Human Services Center, Homestead Road, Chapel Hill, North
Carolina.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: NONE
RECOMMENDATION (S): The Manager recommends that the Board amend their regular
meeting calendar by adding a Work Session on Monday, February 24, 2003 to begin at 5:30
p.m. at the Government Services Center at 200 S. Cameron Street, Hillsborough, North
Carolina and changing the starting time for the Work Session on Wednesday, February 26,
2003 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Southern Human Services Center, Homestead Road,
Chapel Hill, North Carolina.
