Meetings are open to the public to attend. There is no place on the regular
agenda for public comment. Should any member of the public wish to
attend, have a question or comment for the Climate Council's consideration,
they can contact Brennan Bouma before 5pm on the day preceding the
meeting at bbouma@orangecountync.gov or leave a voicemail at 919-245-

The Council will take a moment to acknowledge the native lands on which Orange County
resides.

Council members will have the opportunity to suggest additions to the agenda.

3:15 IV. Presentation from Citizen's Climate Lobby on Carbon
Fee and Dividend Policy
3:30 V. Update from Climate Action Reporting Committee
3:40 VI. Update from Policy Committee
3:50 VII. Update from Communications Committee
4:00 VIII. Discussion: Succession planning and public-facing event
in September
Council members will discuss further plans for a public-facing event to share annual progress.
