Meetings are open to the public to attend. There is no place on the regular
agenda for public comment. Should any member of the public wish to
attend, have a question or comment for the Climate Council's consideration,
they can contact Brennan Bouma before 5pm on the day preceding the
meeting at bbouma@orangecountync.gov or leave a voicemail at 919-245-

Council members will have the opportunity to suggest additions to the agenda.
3:05 II. Approval of Meeting Minutes from May 28, 2020
3:10 III. Update from Climate Action Reporting Committee
3:20 IV. Update from Communications Committee
3:40 V. Update from Policy Committee
3:50 VI. Discussion: Succession planning, EO 143, and Public-
facing event in September
Council members will discuss succession planning for Chair,Vice-Chair,and student members
who will be cycling off the Council in the Fall. Further discussion around the new state executive
order and planning for a public-c facing event in September to show annual progress.
