3:30 I. Call to Order and Updates from Chair
If any new or new alternate members,Council members will introduce themselves. Chair Mark
Marcoplos will briefly report on any ongoing efforts.
3:35 II. Approval of Meeting Summary from December 17, 2019

3:40 III. Approval of Climate Council Mission and Vision
Statements
Members will review and approve a mission statement and a vision statement for the Orange
County Climate Council.
4:00 IV. Update on Existing Committees
The two established committees will confirm their membership and will update the
Council on their initial status. The two committees are: Climate Action Reporting and
Identity and Standards. Council members will discuss next steps and ongoing
management.
4:30 V. Formation of Additional Committees
Council members will consider establishing two or more committees including Climate Justice
Outreach and Evaluation and Monitoring.
4:50 VI. 2020 Meeting Schedule, Staffing, Rules & Procedures
The Council will discuss plans for meetings in 2020,a rotation of staff support duties,and the
creation of Rules and Procedures to guide our functions.
5:00 VII. Adjournment
