PURPOSE: To consider making initial appointments to the Efland/Mebane Small Area Plan
Task Force.
BACKGROUND: The Planning and Inspections Department would like to assemble a citizens
committee to work with Staff to develop a Corridor Study for the Efland/Mebane area. This will
also be an update incorporating the Efland Area Study (EAS) that was originally adapted by
Orange County in 1991.
