BACKGROUND: Orange County requests a Stormwater Control Measure Operation and Maintenance Agreement for the Orange County Efland Emergency Services Station at 3800 US 70 West, Efland. In 2024, the stormwater system was installed to meet the required Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) standards. This is the operations and maintenance agreement per the Orange County UDO Section 6.14 Stormwater Management. FINANCIAL IMPACT: There is no financial impact for granting this Stormwater Operation and Maintenance Agreement. ALIGNMENT WITH STRATEGIC PLAN: This item supports: • GOAL 1: ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION AND CLIMATE ACTION OBJECTIVE 6. Protect water supply/watersheds. The undersigned Orange County — Travis Myren (Property Owner) acknowledges and agrees by signing below that they are responsible for the performance of the stormwater control measures (SCMs) contained within Attachment A and that these restrictions shall be binding on it and its successors in interest. Any problems that are found will be repaired immediately. After the dry pond is established, it shall be inspected quarterly and within 24 hours after every storm event greater than 1.0 inches (or 1.5 inches if in a Coastal County).
