BACKGROUND: At its September 20, 2005 meeting, the BOCC approved the Memorandum of Agreement concerning the Joint Greenhouse Gas Emissions Inventory and Action Plan. As a part of the Memorandum of Agreement, the Air Quality Advisory Committee was formed. The AQAC is made up of 13 members, including one Commissioner, one Energy Industry Representative and two At-Large members, appointed by the County. The Towns of Chapel Hill and Carrboro are also responsible for making appointments. There are also representatives from the Town of Hillsborough and UNC-CH. A RESOLUTION MAI{ING APPOINTMENTS TO THE AIR. QUALITY ADVISORY GROUP FOR.
