Welcome-Virtually attended the Age-Friendly Ecosystem Summit sponsored by George Washington University's Center for Health, Aging and Humanities, as a group. Today's session: "Shaping Tomorrow: Longevity, Age-Friendly and Multi-sector Planning" Other sessions Oct. 9, 15, 16. Discussion followed, including topics such as: • Orange County's involvement with NC's Multisector Plan for Aging • Older adults in prison and their care gaps • Mental health &wellbeing in older adults and across generations • Importance of intergenerational relationships with afterschool programs and tutoring programs 2.
