BACKGROUND: The Chapel Hill Orange County Visitors Bureau Advisory Board is charged with developing and coordinating visitor services in Orange County. It also implements marketing programs that will enhance economic activity and quality of life in the community. The Board of County Commissioners appoints all seventeen (17) members, with representation from specific entities and fields. Thank you and please let us know if we can provide any additional information: Allison Reid has been recommended to replace Tanya Moore as a representative for UNC Chapel Hill.Allison has been at UNC Chapel Hill for more than a decade and started as the communicator at the Law School. She has since moved on to senior communication roles in Student Affairs and in Finance and Operations where she currently serves. Craig Lloyd has been recommended to replace Grace Holtkamp as a representative for the Hillsborough/Orange County Chamber of Commerce. See enclosed attachment. All nominees will make wonderful contributions to Orange County's tourism goals. Please explain your reasons for wanting to serve on this board I'm a huge advocate for and fan of the Chapel Hill Orange County Visitors Bureau Advisory Board, as I've seen the great work they are doing in my personal capacity living in the area and in my professional capacity as a communicator at UNC-Chapel Hill.
