PURPOSE: Ta consider making one appointment to the Economic Development Commission.
BACKGROUND: The Clerk's Office has received, from the City of Mebane, a request to
appoint Bernie Bean to the EDC. Mr. Bean would be appointed to the Mebane ETJ position. If
appointed, Mr. Bean will be serving a partial term which will end 6/30/2007.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider making one appointment to the EDC, as the Board may desire.
