THE ORANGE COUNTY BOARD OF SOCIAL SERVICES MET ON MONDAY: August 19, 2024 at
Hillsborough Commons.
BOARD OF SOCIAL SERVICES MEMBERS PRESENT: Jane Garrett, Ann Wilkerson, Oscar Fleming, Chris
Barnes and Sally Green
GUEST: Brenda Bartholomew, Orange County Human Resources Director, and Travis Myren, Orange County
Manager.
BOARD OF SOCIAL SERVICES MEMBER ABSENT: None.
STAFF PRESENT: Nancy Coston, Social Services Director.
Executive Session
The Board discussed hiring of the DSS Director.
Ann Wilkerson moved to end the Executive Session and continue with the regular Board Meeting.
Oscar Fleming seconded the motion. The motion was carried without dissent.
