PURPOSE: To consider an appointment to the Carrboro NTA (Northern Transition Area) Advisory
Committee.
BACKGROUND: The Carrboro NTA (Northern Transition Area) Advisory Committee consists of five
members, three appointed by the Orange County Board of Commissioners and two by the Carrboro
Board of Aldermen. All members must be residents of Carrboro's Northern Transition Area.
There is currently a vacancy for a BOCC -appointed representative on this Committee.. Two
applications have been received by the Clerk's office for the Board's consideration.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None.
RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider an appointment to the Carrboro NTA (Northern Transition
Area) Advisory Committee as the Board may decide.
