BACKGROUND: There are two At-Large vacancies on the Orange County Arts Commission. The Clerk's office has received several applications from citizens willing to serve on the Commission. At this time, the Membership Subcommittee, having reviewed these applications, has submitted a recommendation far Ms. Annette Smith, of 201 Lexington Drive, Chapel Hill, N.C. 27516 to be appointed to one of the vacant positions. This is a three-year term with an expiration date of March 31, 2007. FINANCIAL IMPACT: None. Their current terms expire on Mazch 31, 2004. Their attendance has been excellent and they would like to be reappointed.. OCAC board members Bronwyn Merritt and Debbie Freedman have decided they will not seek reappointment when their current terms expire on March 31, 2004.
