Please explain your reasons for wanting to serve on this board During the COVID pandemic, I used my quarantine time to connect more with nature and my environment. I went for daily walks in county parks and seeing baby deer, frogs, dogs, birds, and other beautiful natural creates would always make my day. I took on fostering 3 4 week old puppies (giving me a total of 5 dogs in my house!) and absolutely loved it, despite the hard work. Seeing them find homes and grow up happy and healthy after their tough start to life gave me a new appreciation for animal advocacy. I know there is more I can do to help the animals 7 Page 2 of 2 Annie Goldberg we share our neighborhood with and I m willing to donate the time and energy necessary to represent their needs on a policy level. How would your particpation on this board contribute to the diversity of viewpoints? I have experience living in the mid-west and North Carolina in both rural and urban environments.
