PURPOSE: To consider one reappointment and one new appointment to the Chapel Hill
Planning Board.
BACKGROUND: The BOCC appoints three representatives to the Chapel Hill Planning Board.
Two positions are for Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ) residents and one is for a resident of the
./pint Planning Area (JPA).
At the present time, Ms. Julie Raimondi Coleman, serving in an ETJ position, is interested in
serving a second term. Her first term expired on 6130/2003.
Also, the second three-year term of Mr. H. Coleman Day, Vice-Chair, ETJ position, expired
6/30/03. Mr. Day has continued to serve until a replacement is appointed.
Advertising has been done with several applications received in the Clerk's office.
