PURPOSE: To consider appointing two County Commissioners to the Joint Orange Grove
Road Transportation Group (JOGRTG).
BACKGROUND:At the May 6, 2001 B C.0 C.joint meeting with the Town of Hillsborough, the
two governing beams agreed to each appoint two members to a small group to review the
issues with the development that is happening on Orange Grave Road, The Hillsborough Town
Commissioners have chosen Evelyn Lloyd and Mike Gering to this group called the Joint
Orange Grove Road Transportation Group.
Staff support has been identified as Craig Benedict, Director of the Orange County Planning
Department, and Karen Lincoln, Transportation Planner.
The Board of County Commissioners needs to appoint two members of the B.O.C.C. to this
Group.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None
RECOMMENDATION(S): Appoint Me members from the Boom of County Commissioners to
the Joint Orange Grove Road Transportation Group.
