PURPOSE: To consider an appointment to an Extratemibrial Jurisdiction seat on the Centeno
Planning Board
BACKGROUND: There are three seats on the Canborc Planning Board that may be appointed
by the Orange County Board of Commissioners: two ETJ seats and a Transition Area (TA) seat.
One of the ETJ seats 18 vacant and the TA seat is vacant.
Mr. Frank R. Hammill has applied to serve as an ETJ representative on the Cambgm Planning
Board. He recently completed a term as the Orange County ETJ representative on the Cariboo
Board of Adjustment.
The Town of Carl has recommended him by Resolution to fil the ETJ seat on the Carrboro
Planning Board.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None
RECOMMENDATION(S): Consider appointing Mr. Frank R. Hammill as an ETJ representative
on the Carrboro Planning Board for a term to expire February 28, 2004.
