PURPOSE: To consider one reappointment to the Agricultural Preservation Board and
consider selecting two new members from the interest list.
BACKGROUND: Ms. Marly Mandell's term wall expire on 6/30/2002 on the Agricultural
Preservation Board. She Is exigible to serve We more terms and wishes to continue on the
Board.
There am two At-Large vacancies and five individuals on the interest list. Members are
selected and appointed for this particular Board by the Boom of County Commissioners.
Note: There are also two vacant positions for Perpetual Voluntary Agricultural District Members
because Josephine and Stewart Barbour and Bob Nu6er do not choose to participate.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None
RECOMMENDATION(S): Reappoint Marty Mandell to a first full term on the Agricultural
Preservation Board for a term to expire on June 30, 2005 and, g the Board chooses to do so,
appoint two new members.
