PURPOSE: To adjust the salary of the Register of Deeds from Salary Grade 18, Step 3B.
$56,560 to Salary Grade 78, Step 4B, $59388.
BACKGROUND: The Board of Commissioners has assessed the Register of Deeds salary.
As a result, the Board has indicated that it wishes to adjust the Register of Deeds salary as
noted below effective June 24, 2002.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: The estimated annual cost of the salary adjustment is $2,828
RECOMMENDATION(SR The Manager recommends the Boat adopt the salary adjustment to
change the Register of Deeds salary from Salary Grade 78, Step 36, $56,560 to Step 413,
$59,386 affective June 24, 2002.
