PURPOSE: To update the Board of Commissioners(BOCCI on questions posed! by the Sound of
Commissioners and citizens at the June 4, 2002 meeting.
BACKGROUND: This topic has been discussed on the May 28, 2002 BOCC Info Session and
June 4, 2002 BOCC Regular Meeting. There were a few important questions mised by citizens
and the BOCC that have bean addressed by the attached attorney letters.
Specmcally,the questions pertained to:
1) Status of Joint Planning Ama (JPA) process if project is annexed prior to process,
2) Process for Sale Of Property Owned by UNC which is an adjacent tract to the proposed
Winmore project.
Project size and scope has been included in the project overview as well as a summary repel Of
test amendments.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None at this time.
RECOMMENDATION(S): The Manager recommends that the Board review the information
presented and provide direction to staff as necessary.
