PURPOSE: To consider appointing two County Commissioners to the Joint Orange Grove
Road Tranaportatlon Group (JOGRTG).
BACKGROUND:At the May B, 2002, B.O.C.C.joint meeting with the Town of Hillsborough,the
Me governing boards agreed to each appoint two members to a small group to review the
issues with the development that is happening on Orange Grove Road. The Hillsborough Town
Commissioners have chosen Evelyn Lloyd and Mike Gering to this group called the Join[
Orange Grove Road Transportation Group.
Staff support has been identified as Craig eenedicq Director of the Orange County Planning
Department, and Karen Lincoln, Transportation Planner.
The Email it of County Commissioners needs to appoint two members of the B.O.C.C.to this
Group.
FINANCIAL IMPACT: None
RECOMMENDATION(S): Appoint two members from the Board of County Commissioners to
the Joint Orange Grove Road Transportation Group.
