PURPOSE: To consider an appointment to the Mebane Board of Adjustment.
BACKGROUND: The Mebane Board of Adjustment hears and decides appeals of decisions by
the Mebane Zoning Enforcement Officer and grants special use permits and variances.
The Board of County Commissioners appoints one (1) member, representing the Mebane
Extraterritorial Jurisdiction (ETJ).

I am confident that my over 20 years of experience in land surveying will be valuable to the
board. Having a vast knowledge of boundary law and land development will be of value when
working with the board to reach decisions.
Reasons for wanting to serve on this board:
After being a resident of Mebane for 12 years I would like to see Mebane preserve its small town
charming appeal while
continuing to grow. As a stakeholder in the community I would bring to the board knowledge of
zoning regulations while listening to th

I work under the State and County line Surveyor for North Carolina. If any project dealt with the
county line being adjusted I would have to recuse myself from those discussions.
